A few tips for de-winterizing 2-cycle equipments:
Make sure the gas tank is full with added fuel stabilizer before putting away your equipment for winter. Or alternatively drain the fuel system by running engine until it runs out of fuel.
Check and replace air filter before Spring reboot. Air filters should be changed after every 25 hours of operation.
Check and replace spark plug before spring reboot. Spark plugs should be change after every 25 hours of operation.
Inspect your equipment with special attention to easy-to-wear parts. Replace worn parts such as tires, control cables, bearings and other parts if necessary.
Fill your equipment with fresh fuel & non-alcohol based stabilizer if drained for winter.
You are good to go. Good luck with your spring reboot.
