Darker stones do not need tinting. White stones need to be slightly tinted with food coloing or epoxy/polyester tint to match. Use a UV pen for fine scratches, however, UV light-cured repairs larger than a scratch will be brittle with and are likely to fail. For years I.I. 29 has been the #1 install and rapid-repair epoxy used by the pro's. The extended 15 minute application time allows for proper alignment and application for repairing or installing without needing to rush...then instantly dries after the application time is up. So you dont wait for projects to dry. I.I. 29 strongly bonds to most all projects all around the house... not just stone and tile. ~Cracks and chipped repairs: Cracks must be wide enough to be able to get a fingernail into. No tint needed if you have a clean break where the piece can be reattached. ~Counter top installs: Joint lines do not need to be taped since amazingly, the dried excess will not stick to the slick finished surfaces. Tinting rarely needed since cured transparency blends in perfectly to most stones colors. Can be tinted if needed with food coloring, polyester or epoxy tints. Simply mix equal amounts of Resin and Hardener and apply to both edges. Clamp edges for maximum bond. Do not remove uncured excess epoxy. Let dry then simply razor off the excess in apx. 30 minutes once excess is dry-to-touch. ~ Chipped granite counter tops: Apply and push firmly into place. Always clamp for the most invisible of seam results or tape tightly down with duct tape. Gem Soap Formula
-White glycerin soap: 1 cup soap cube
-Olive oil soap: 1 cup soap cube
-Mold: large ice tray (6"*4"
-10 drops of lemongrass essential oil ( with functions of invigorating, eliminating fatigue, sterilizing, deodorant and insect repellent)
-Mica powder
-Soap colorant: 2 colors
-Alcohol sprays
Operation
-Prepare 1 teaspoon of mica powder (color of your choice) and 1/2 teaspoon of alcohol in a small bowl and mix well to form a paste.
-Microwave to melt 1 cup white glycerine soap and 1 cup olive oil soap, use a large ice cube tray to separate and serve. (most soap will melt in a microwave oven at high temperature for 30s, remove and stir well.)
-Add 5 drops of lemongrass essential oil to each bar of soap mixture.
-Pour the mixture of mica power and essential oil into the melted white glycerin oil soap and add a few drops of stain. Add a few drops of stain to the melted olive oil soap. Mix them and pour the soap into the mold to form a soap mixture.
-Spray the surface of the mixture gently with an alcohol spray to remove air bubbles. Remove the mixture from the mold after it has solidified.
