Service ti: This is a direct replacement for WB20K8. The WB20K8 will look different and the connections will be on either side of the thermostat instead of the same side. However, it does not matter when hooking the new one up connection wise. You can simply hook up either wire as these are just power transferring wires and nothing else. If you mix the wires and put them on different ways they will not be a safety hazard or issue once power is applied to the thermostat. These will mount exactly the same and the knob will also slip right onto this new unit.
